Key to Escape, LLC operates and conducts room escape adventures. Participating in a room escape can result in injuries to the participant. The participant, by executing his or her signature to this release, does hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to take any action against Key to Escape, LLC, its officers, members, promoters, owners, employees, contractors or business partners from any and all liability, injuries, or any and all other claims and damages as a result of participating in an event sponsored by Key to Escape, LLC. Participant assumes full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death or property damage due to negligence or non-negligence of Key to Escape, LLC. The undersigned further acknowledges that he/she is voluntarily participating despite the risk of falls, contact and/or crashes with other participants, defective equipment, and the condition of the room. I agree that Key to Escape, LLC or any of its assigns has the right to any photos or any video/sound footage of me during the event. These photos, video footage and sound materials may be used for any marketing purposes. I fully understand that there are no refunds under any conditions once I purchase my entrance ticket. Participant agree that all room content, for example but not limited to: riddles, story, games, room design, etc, are the original design of Key to Escape LLC and by recreating them in any way, or disclosing related information either written, verbally or otherwise, is intellectual property theft. Participant agrees that by doing any of aforementioned actions may be prosecuted, and/or held responsible for costs directly related to replacing any games/props or room in its entirety. Participants agree that any damages caused by they personally as a result of their actions will result in the immediate reimbursement for the current replacement costs including construction cost, installation fees, loss of revenue, etc.
*Some games may have flashing lights, loud noises or scents. If you are sensitive to any of these, please let your staff member know so we can best accommodate you.
If any provision, section, subsection, clause or phrase of this release is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that portion shall be severed from this contract. The remainder of this contract will then be construed as though the unenforceable portion had never been contained in this document.
