Punctuality*
I understand that arriving on time helps ensure the best experience for everyone.
If I am more than 5 minutes late, my appointment may be cancelled, and the full cost of the appointment would apply.

Preparation *
I understand that for the best possible experience, my hair should be clean, fully dry, worn down and loose, carefully detangled, and styled with minimal product upon arrival.

(If extra detangling is required during the service, an additional fee may apply.)

Last Minute Cancellation/ Reschedule *
I understand that providing at least 48 hours’ notice allows appointments to be managed thoughtfully. If I’m unable to do so, a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment cost will be charged to the card on file, in line with Penny Lane’s Cancellation Policy.

Illness Policy*
I understand that, to help protect everyone’s well-being, I should refrain from entering the salon if I am feeling unwell in any way, including symptoms related to COVID-19 or other illnesses.

Stylist Illness/ Emergency*
I understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or an emergency, may occasionally prevent my stylist from coming into the salon. These situations are rare, but if they do occur, my appointment may need to be cancelled or rescheduled on short notice.

Guests*
I understand that guests, including children, spouses, pets or friends, are NOT permitted at my appointment unless pre-approved by Penny Lane due to limited space.

*Service animals are always welcome.

Artistic Services & Touch Up Policy*
I understand that, because Penny Lane Studios provides artistic services, refunds are not available.

I also understand that I’m welcome to schedule a complimentary touch-up within two weeks of my initial appointment by emailing booking@pennylanechicago.com.

Client Age Minimum *
I understand that, to ensure the best possible experience, Penny Lane requires approval before scheduling appointments for clients under the age of 18, as each stylist has their own comfort level and minimum age requirements.

Price Transparency*
I understand that prices may adjust based on the time involved, the amount of color used, or any added services, and that any changes in pricing will always be communicated and confirmed before proceeding with the service.

Parking Lot*
I understand that the shared parking lot behind the salon is intended for use only during my appointment. I acknowledge that it is monitored by a third-party company. To avoid any issues, I understand that leaving the salon premises before, during or after my service, may put my vehicle at risk of being towed.

Dismissal *
I understand that I may be asked to leave the salon immediately if I violate the terms of this agreement.
This also applies if I, or any guest accompanying me, becomes aggressive or disruptive to the salon environment.

Green Circle & Staff Wellness Fees*
We're proud to be a Certified Green Circle Salon and to support our team with benefits like dental, vision, and maternity leave.
I understand that a $5 fee will be added to my service total to help fund these initiatives.

Photo & Video Disclosure
I give Penny Lane Studios permission to use photos or videos of me or my property for promotional purposes, and I waive any rights to review or approve their use. I understand and accept these terms.

Card on File Requirement *
By clicking this box, I consent to Penny Lane retaining my card on file and charging it in accordance with the 48-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy, if applicable.

I understand that if I do not provide my card details at least 72 hours prior to my appointment, my appointment may be at risk of cancellation.

Online Deposit Policy
I understand that if I cancel my appointment, after booking online, that my pre-paid a deposit will be credited to my account to use towards a future service, unless a refund is specifically requested or noted by the Penny Lane team.

If any provision, section, subsection, clause or phrase of this release is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that portion shall be severed from this contract. The remainder of this contract will then be construed as though the unenforceable portion had never been contained in this document.
